So we traveled to Montenegro (Црна Гора) to visit Kotor (Котор)
A small sea side city much like Dubrovnik except tinier... there was a monastery and a fortress up on the mountain.. On the front of the main wall, there is a date and the year in which the city was liberated from the Nazis...

The Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea is sometimes called the southern-most fjord in Europe (though it is actually a submerged river canyon)."
